About 16-18 of our members will be detagging and re-tagging into 2 small clans to duke it out some time this weekend

NA will police all hits made on these clans and we ask that you leave them be so they can cripple fight it out

I don't think it's them warring that bothers Slagpit. I think it's them announcing that they're going into different tags like 15 minutes before the first tag is created. Not everyone reads AT before playing their turns every day, and a few grabs on a new, unpacted tag sporting juicy land should be expected.

I seriously doubt NA will be able to effectively police those hits without getting into some sort of trouble. Being that AT isn't really the place for official FA discussions and all...

ya, if this was a war planned ahead of time, it should have been posted a bit earlier if there were going to be two disjoint tags created that don't look to be affiliated to NA.

that being said, people could also just throw NA a bone and let them have their fun in peace, rather than going out of their way to cause problems.

Ahh, well...he does have a point, tho. Honestly, what do you think would have happened had LaF been netting, and a couple LaF members suddenly saw a couple new tags pop up, containing countries with higher-than-untagged-average land?

Would LaF have accepted NA's retaliations? Would any self-respecting alliance accept those retals?

if someone from LaF hit one of those NA guys not knowing it was an NA thing, I don't see how LaF would accept that either. I never would have when I was doing FR, and I'm confident that no one would now either.

Don't be so grouchy Slagpit..tis the season to be jolly. We're just trying to have some fun is all with whats left of our countries. We've been wanting to hold a grudge war for a couple sets between a couple of our divisions but some felt it wasn't a good idea even though both sides were all for it :) Still though, I and Vic both would be very much appreciative if you would kindly put both tags THUNDEAD and VicDies on WAR DNH....the actual war will begin in the next 72hrs as some work schedules got in the way.

exactly what cypress said...the grudge war was to be between SnG (my division) and HG (our klll team)....as SnG had been outhittng and out killing any kill targets with extreme efficiency compared to what HG was doing....we (I) was teasing them...some took it to heart :) a couple sets ago the banter included challenges of div vs div heh heh...fortunately for HG...llaar said no. heh
