Yes. Im still not sure how the oil transfer works.
Is the SO algorithm manipulated when I see 10-15 orders of 5,000 barrels for $27 or $28?
Gains? You and LaF have done it a few times. Whats in the sauce?

Someone is clearing/reordering all standing orders so theirs is next in line so they can pick up the $26 chunk being transferred

The standing order buying algorithm was changed as part of Change Set 25 so this type of manipulation should no longer be possible.

You have access to the data? I would be curious who was behind this.
Is this considered a ban worthy activity? Or simply name and shame?

I could look it up if I wanted but it's not against the rules. Players are taking an advantage of an unintended consequence of the algorithm that we developed. That's part of normal play. People weren't supposed to be able to get 100% building cost reduction either.

This happens somewhat commonly in recent sets. You can typically figure it out, there are bots that watch NW. Or like Josey, you can wait until the end of the set (assuming it went where it was meant to go, and gets used effectively). We've certainly seen a few go awry over the years.
