Univeristy of North Carolian at Charlotte, gettin a football team in 2013!

It's a fairly good acadmic school, sports wise the basketball team made it to the final 4 in the 70s and makes the NCAA tourny every few years. They have a good baseball team, make it to the world series bout every year.

They have a huge nursing and architecture programs, and are known nationwide for their automotive engineering program. It's the fastest growing school in the UNC system, and has somewhere in the mid 20 thousands students. It was founded in the late 40s, 49 actually, hense the name the 49ers, and was mainly a school for the gi bill.

So I wouldn't really say it's a random no name institution. I used that email because that's where I graduated from.

fluff, I almost forgot their buisness school, with Charlotte being the banking center it is, lots Monet poured into their buisness school.

And it does alot of research, human genome etc

I bet almost no one's heard of the school I went to... but anyone who is from this area knows that it's a good university :p
no one would think "oh, Dave went to Guelph? that's a crappy school" unless they went to a rival school, like McMaster or Waterloo and think more lowly of those others around them :p
