The exclude is better if your purpose is to find good grab targets.

Example - if you're a theo casher, you want to grab cashers. Well, that could be dicts, theos, demos, mons, or reps. You could choose to include them all, but dicts and demos could also be farmers, theos and mons could also be techers. By choosing to exclude fasc, com, and tyr, then excluding known techers and farmers, you get results that filter more closely to what you want.

Use the exclude function on all govt types you dont want to search.
Also be sure to exclude non-npc and tagged.

Wouldn't be easier to just click on gov.and type. Like if I want demo cashers, I click on demo cashers, or if I want demo cashers and farmers I just need to click 3 boxes instead of all but 3?

The exclude functionality also lets you use land parameters and NW parameters to search, there's lots of criteria there.

Why would you only want demos specifically, and not cashers of all govt types?
