how do you identify bots in express? I have not play express for a long time.

If it has no oil, no moves, it is robbed and it has an interesting country name it is 99.9% bot.

Do they never have oil? Don't they build rigs?

I would also add that they will usually have 240CS though occasionally they will build 360 I think.

they target 65 BPT, so yeah 240CS (168 for Theo/352 for dict)

Also, bots do not write threatening emails , even if they are robbed.
They have the patience of a Saint . Their motto is "silence is gold".
This is probably why their country names are highlighted in gold at the end of the game=)
