Demo Techer?

I tried an all explore rep casher last set, finished 9th then a dict farmer this set and finished 7th.

Could have finished better this round if I continued grabbing as a dict farmer but that TTTF was around with 14m jets. Stopped at about 1k-1100k turns taken. :(

That being said, I doubt I would’ve gotten a win anyway with a farmer. Market prices just ain’t working for farmers and cashers I feel. :(

no one wanted to buy my cheap tech at the end :( Guess I posted too late. Could have made a top ten otherwise.

Btw guys, was the market prices always like this? It’s only the second set I’ve played after a few years. :/

Hopefully I’ve gotten used to it and will do better next set.

I’ve also just found out about the bots halfway through the set. haha

Tech prices are dependent on the # of techers and the # of Demos. Techers drive the price down quickly and they stay down if there are too many. Resellers drive it up. I sold a couple of good-sized blocks of 6k bus/res last night.

I think the last few sets have seen higher tech prices than average.

6k techs?!?! Who buys 6k techs??

I don't know lol. But Im not complaining.

Congrats CX! btw, that was me with 1 acre in protection. I got it up to 1.8b, messed up and accidentally bought bushels at 38, dropped me down to 1.3b, then the food market jumped and stayed there. It was just an experiment to see how far I could go and stay in protection. :)

That was pretty awesome to watch lol. I was msging back and forth w/ another player wondering how much cash you had and when you'd come out of protection so we could spy and see. :P
