My understanding is that it narrows based on NW. You were probably less than 2-1 on him which put you within his range. Not sure what the exact cut off is, but maybe Gerdler or one of the other real students of the game will chime in. -v
Humanitarians do narrow the NW range in which you can aggress and be agressed on starting 30 turns from the end. 15 turns out(1 hour from end) it's still wide enough to hit though even if NW is not all that close. maybe its 4x and .25x or something.
GDI stops all attacks from the GDI country unless he is hitting someone that hit him during the reset. A non-GDI or a GDI that you hit can still hit you though GDI up until the end as long as humanitarians don't stop him.
No problem, I think it makes the game better the more informed and skilled my competition is. So giving information is a selfish act for me as well. :)
