That was a hell of a finish, but you couldn't beat those tech prices this set ... or mil prices today for reselling.

I couldn't get any indy tech below 2500 entire set.

I was luckier, but the bulk of what I bought was 2500-2800.

Congrats to winner and all the top 10! I forgot GDI so my set was fluffed from the start. I persisted anyway cause I wanted to try for three express wins in a row. Some griefer idiot wrecked my set (I killed them for that) but it didn't matter cause I wouldn't have beaten that score.

Haha,. like that was my 2nd or 3rd time playing indy. It's kinda hard to balance selling off military at 42kA,. because if you sell too much you know someone is looking to LG.

Dictator isn't ideal to net as indy., but then again,. I was hoping to war. I was making around 100k turrets a turn. If I were playing Commie I'd be near 140k. Huge difference.

Barely played market and often logged into bulk turns, at one time, almost max stored (dumb with strat I chose) but my goal was a top tenner again (Got x4 tapped by #126 and almost just went 'blah'), I have never won yet, and was not planning to do so this round either, but disappointing total NW slow playing country. I also sold too low with Market so well this set. Great job to all, but especially getting over $70mil. The goal I had in my head, without trying too much, was about $25-$30mil, so I blew that.
I considered grabbing Cephi on Sunday, but also concidered I might actually be around to finish this set, and I was. I also thought I could get 5th again, but naaa. I'm just here, as always, hanging around and not 'mathing' ;-) A complete, 'let's see where my country is now' upon logging in set.

you could have resold from your private market at a great profit the last 4 hours when jets/turrets were constantly selling at $250 and troops at 200. There were even standing orders to sell to and I had 10B cash backing them up.

Yeah I did that.

The only ones which were profitable were tanks/troops. Getting your military tech to move at 42kA w/ tech prices 3k+ in final hrs wasn't worth it.

Seems like every set that looks great someone screws with me.

if someone screws with you, it doesn't mean you have to throw away your whole set - sometimes its ok to man up and walk away.
