I fluffed up my finish. I experimented on the oil destock without understanding the steps much. OIL destock. OIL. I don't even have a fluffing drop. LOL!

I have read somewhere about this awesome end game move. So there I was wishful thinking for the first four days of the round. I happily squirreled away enough bushels. It's way more than I did in the previous rounds because I started hoarding early.

Then came Day 5. "I will sell my bushels in the private market. Veterans do this so I'm going to have a great finish." NOT.

I sold all my units and tech in the public market, then switched, and then recalled. Easy. I felt like a pro. Then the next step almost made me swoosh my pants. MBs. Drop fluff. WTH. Dropping loses PM units. Then I scrolled down to the oil refining step.

If only I could turn my sweat into oil...

Well, I will get this step next round. Or maybe the next. Or maybe not. Idiot got his heart crushed. LOL. This could have been my greatest round.

Any tips on destocking will be highly appreciated. Cheers! 🙂

do not oil destock in Express. it is not worth it.

well you can oil destock on express but you will finish around 10-12m NW at 17.5k acres.

no oil or mbr (normal unless runs full set t/dmbr) finishes

You can win with oil destock in express, it's just a bit harder than winning without it. :)

I tried it a couple times in the past and got just over 30M nw. No wins with it but decent finishes.

Maybe we need an oil destock challenge.

Yeah not enough oil volume on market I guess to make it possible for more than a couple.

and price won't get high.

when i did my oil destocks it was with techer, I was an opportunist and did it mostly because I saw the oil market might work for it. That said if theres such a challenge, it probably won't be skill that wins it but mostly luck in being the for instance the only techer of the oil destockers or the only hybrid that went rig-heavy in a market short in oil.

I've done it a few times but that was simply based on market luck of being able to buy alot of oil for cheap.

fluff off Marshal. No one needs Capitan obvious, or an echo chamber. Especially in matters you know nothing about. Like netting, or understanding how the game works.
