i have just gotten word from Lizzie's family that she is currently in the hospital fighting a losing battle with lung cancer... apparently they caught it too late for any treatment to be able to fight it off successfully... She has very little time left according to her daughter....

my thoughts go to her family... she has long been a very dear friend and it would be a gross understatement to say that she ill be missed...

Damn. I'm at a loss for words. I can't say I was as good of a friend, but I did enjoy talking to her when the opportunity was available.

Yes from what I hear she did. We have added her daughter to our ICN facebook site so she can see the condolences and read the post that show how much she meant to everyone. So if you wish to send her a message you can either post it here and Link or myself (or any others) can make sure she gets the message. She said she will want to read them when she is able to for comfort.

thats because we aren't all 13-20 year olds anymore my friend. With age comes wisdom but also illness. I didn't know her but I can offer my condolonces to her friends here and her family. I can tell she is loved. Prayers go out for all.

I'm sorry to hear this news. :( It's a shame that we are all human and must suffer the frailties of our health. But, it is what it is. I have never had opportunity to speak with her, but I am convinced that the Earth Community will certainly lose a distinctive part of it's character when she passes.
