dunno, i ran one a couple of winters ago and didn't hear anything about it. basically, there was a sheet of ice for 30 feet before the light and i couldn't brake safely on it, so i coasted until i hit dry pavement and punched my right hand turn.

the dry pavement was the first lane of traffic that was perpendicular to my line of travel. the second lane of traffic had an SUV in it.
