if you want to get land fast then right after oop but expect to get retalled alot/killed on later of set.

A lot of people explore/build up to 1920 acres, then do a big batch explore to 3800 acres, then build that land and batch explore again to about 6000 acres. After that's built they start attacking.

Others like to skip the 2nd batch explore and start grabbing from 3800 acres.

Others still, will attack right from the 1920 acre point.

There are benefits to each way, its up to you how you plan and organize your country. Some guys explore all set long.
