I whined? Funny, I still got to my land goal of 60,000+ acres and won the round. Yah poor me. Lol.

How can you interpret an observation about better defended land that affects everyone equally, as whining? There were lots of well defended countries with lots of missiles, that is all. It held back the competition more than anything.
