I assume people don't know how the DR works because I see people hitting 4 or 5 DR countries when the websites says like 1.

diminishing returns

it's really tough to know exactly how much DR a country is in, but basically each hit against a country has a halflife that lasts about 20 hours.

so right at the time of the hit, that's 1 DR.
20 hours later, it's 0.5 DR.

if they're hit multiple times though, that DR adds up.

to get full returns, you need to hit a country with a DR at 2 or under. to get 80% turns, you hit a country at 4 DR or under. after that your returns will be rather low.

http://www.eestats.com shows all countries and attack histories, but the DR number there is just # of hits in the last 24 hours, so it's not the whole picture

Anyways, I feel like I've read up, and tried my hand at this game once again, thinking I got the hang of it a bit .. but kinda dug myself into a helluva rut w/ my current country, therefore I declare immunity, or something like that.

Just need to get accustomed to the lingo/acronyms again ... be patient with me guys (and girls???) I'll get my crap together and hopefully break the top 280 haha
