What is fishy? That someone has had a standing order in place for a longer time than you, and now finally had the longest standing order that surpassed the asking price?

no its not uncommon in a "solo" server for someone to aid another player by selling to them in a way that benefits them over another player which is against the rules, the oil sold for ~100 when the highest standing order was in the 300's that is a red flag to cheating.

Report it... a mod will maybe look at it.

I often put orders earlier in the set when prices are low and forget about them, so may just be something like that. $200 below asking is a lot though. Worth a look id say.

you dork this is when oil was selling 400-600 with barely any on market for people to grab with, then someone gets ahold of 300k-400k oil at 100 and makes bunch of grabs while everyone else is in a stalemate.

I'm not playing primary, but I know on other servers I put in really low SOs for oil, tech, and military all the time. I get super low priced goods like this more often than you'd think. My guess is most of the time it's just someone who really needs something to sell, is a noob, or makes a mistype. However, I'm sure I catch people trying to transfer goods to someone they have in mind, but it doesn't go as they plan :)

only reason I found it was my SO's for 300 caught the first batch but I didn't have the cash at home :( but my point is the guy sold at 100 when SO's were 300-400 and oil was selling 400-500 so not desperation leaving only collusion or a mistype on stock but nobody puts only 300k+ barrels up on market for 1020 if they forgot a 0 you would expect it to be a few million.

They could have easily meant 402, the 4 is right above the 1 on the number pad.

I pick up some ~$20 oil almost every set and the SO price is never even close to that. Some players just have no idea what they're doing, you can't expect everyone to be a rational actor.
