always keep track of your taps and not double tap if you're trying to net on a server that enforces gdi and you can't declare war.

Yep. For me its very easy to do. Even a pen and paper will suffice. Every tap you do, just write it down. And before you tap just run over the list. Don't go by memory. After a month or more long server game its easy to forget your taps. Heck, a lot of people forget they double tapped on express and that only lasts a few days and the record easily checked from the news.

That is unless you're badass and don't care about double+ tapping and ROR.

I have around 70 NM, CM, and EM waiting for the first double tap on me. Will unload on the lucky winner.

the rule of the 4 Ts: ensure you have adequate troops, tanks, turrets and tech!

That is not an art. That's just being badass. If people retal or war you, it will hurt your set, even if you defend against them. If you're really just trying to net, you'd want to avoid that drama. If you're not there to net, then of course you wouldn't care and will double tap or ROR if you think you can get away with it.

if you want to net, and you don't double tap, you won't go very far with these small number of players playing.. but then again double tapping comes with a risk.

You don't have to use pen and paper. just use eestats.com do a quick sign up less than 30 seconds.. then just colour code the countries then you have already hit, green for allies/friends.. orange for target you have hit, red for target that need to be retalled..

but I don't use any of these.. too lazy to even do that.

i didn't ask if i double tapped that country. i didn't say what that country did was an issue. (also, everyone knows i wasn't netting)

ya forum ID so that we can both laugh about me RoR'ing thinking I was making a big retal, and then realizing when the AB's came in that I did indeed RoR :p

can't say i've ever been so sloppy that I've RoRed unwittingly before this... but this reset and this server is just one sloppy place so I guess it's fitting :p

Primary server in particular where yo ucan't declare war, netters should probably avoid RoR or double tapping I think. Because the trolls or the tough guys who swing back can't declare war or goat you into war. Like the express server, people with GDI, the only wya people can screw with you is with SS or PS. Which takes tremendous resources and not everyone or everytime can break through. That is unless you double tap or RoR. Then you open the gates and unleash the whiplashing to follow. Kiss goodbye to your netting because they are gonna troll you for the rest of the set.
