I don't know about now, but back in the day when I was "playing" markets, I used to sit and watch them every day around the time my stuff was going to come on the market.

As far as I could tell, it was always FIFO at any particular price.

yea very easy to test.

it's FIFO... so first order gets served first, but after you get some goods with your order, yours gets put to the back of the line; also orders will get put to the back of the line when they become 72-96 hours old (and their times will be reset). That's to prevent the "first person who logged in put an order on for 2B $15 oil" problem heh.

Ok, just making sure... I realized that my order for 999,999,999,999 (or whatever it was) bushels at anything 31 or lower could make me a lot of money exclusively (except I suppose a non-demo could foil it by placing an order for more than $2B which becomes less after commissions) if there wasn't some manner of reordering.

If the system became more transparent, it would be even more fun.
