based on bushel sales in the past 1 hour...the bots have been powered up again. Maybe we will see new military/food/tech on the market in 4 to 6 hours.

You must be correct because if their NW was dropping ~300k they would have been selling 150k pts of tech. Much more likely they were Demo Indies selling 500k jets/turrets.

Have the bots just quit playing altogether? It appears that on 9/10 in express they stopped running turns and haven't been back since. In FFA, they seem to be largely absent from the market although sometimes there is a surge in activity. But even in the past 24 hours in FFA I haven't seen anything indicating bot activity.

I agree that with such few countries it is somewhat luck of choice which strategy to employ. At this point in the set there is no tech and prices are likely to be high

I'm not that familiar with the 3rd party sites and API. Is there a way to know how much food is being placed more expensive than the current price. I'd be interested to know if part of the problem is the bots running turns and selling the food for too high a price for it to make a difference (essentially stocking). That may also explain why tech is low if the farmer bots aren't selling food and therefore can't afford tech.

Stock tech probably...I don't know. Buying food at 80 and selling at 35 isn't going to help anyone. Tech at least can help you while you play turns and normally can be resold around 2000 end of set

I'm fairly certain that the bots haven't played in over 24 hours. Look at the drop in market between 24 and 72 hours. it's anyone's guess what prices will look like when they catch up on turns

I'm just glad your getting bigger. If you were to get into a war and shrink in size prices could hit $70. As far as how long...the first market shift will probalby be when one of the big 3 techers decides to destock. But even then there may be enough people sitting on max turns that can eat through a single techers stock in a day.

NiteIL I think you are in very good shape. Just need to keep growing as fast as those RCs coming up strong.

I trust you, but it's hard for me to tell based on previous sets because of the scale being 100x too big for early set activity. The line looks like it is almost at 0 for the first 7 days last set. Last time this happened how long until it was fixed? I could use some lower tech prices :)

I'm certainly not a market expert but looking at Little Italy's tool there is plenty of food being sold in the 36 to 40 range. This makes sense to me based on how many countries were buying up everything under $35 to sell on private over the past 2 days.

I bought some food for $26 yesterday...that had to be a bot. I also saw a small 60 acre country that was clearly trying to arbitrage food, which is probably why it spiked. There seems to be recent sales from untagged commies...hopefully the bots aren't broken again and its just quiet.

This is my first set playing FFA since bots were introduced. Is the below type of activity unusual this late in the set or can this be expected on any given set? Obviously 130 is well below the private market value.

Unfortunately I did...I made a lot of bad choices this set because it had been so long since I played an FFA set. Country numbers 1105 & 1108. You'll notice they finish much lower than the other techers in my string.
