SoL retal policy has an 80% land:land for non relations, which includes untagged. To be honest, you are lucky they don't just farm you into oblivion. The fact they contacted you and opened communications is a showing of the respect I have personally for PDM. Alliance server is about tag protection. While I don't condone farming the untagged players, this server is about ALLIANCES. They provide training, protection and the name of the server.

That being said, I am impressed with your country performance given the fact you are untagged. I hope you find a tag that will benefit from your skill as well as protect you from being farmed. Good luck!

Thanks for the initial support and the understanding Nole. I still want to fight with ICN some day. We'll have to keep that in mind in the upcoming sets.

Such an insane amount of miscommunication and misunderstanding. I won't deal with this on AT.

However what I will say here is this: There has been a war pact on an open Google doc and all alliances involved had access to and signed . Miscommunications happened and with it being December and lots of family fluff going on, there was lag in communication. My intention was to make this as even as possible and fun for both sides, not to make use of our huge 9 member advantage. I apparently failed at that attempt. Covering all bases and keeping all alliances informed throughout all the talks could have been done better. A simple Skype group with involved leadership could have solved this before it was an issue. A lesson learned for next time.

For further communication we can chat on Skype or Irc.

We agreed action needed to be taken and worked together to deal with the issue at hand. MD, LaF, SoL, SoF, Evo, Rage, PDM, TPA, etc working together to solve the problem of early wars making the server suck. Imagnum wants to play with the other alliances, they need to keep up on current events.

Is it too long to wait? Maybe. Should it be changed? Sure, why not? To what I don't know, but maybe reduce it to Day 21? 14? Will it last forever? Nope. But it will leave an impression on the server and hopefully help relations to the point where we can respect our enemy enough to make this game fun again.

Why were there deletions?

SoL offers any new tag protection, if they request it, as we did with OMA. If a new tag play respectfully it gets extended. If they try to ride the thin line of what is allowed by say, playing the 70% game, red flags go off and channces of renewal is revoked. By this '70% game' i mean retalling for 60-69% of land then taking another hit to abide by the 1:1 or 70% rule.

Larger tags may do this, but they have the influence to let it slide, hit similarly or use FAs to make a statement. As a newer tag with very few members, trying to use rules to their advantage is not the best way to make a name for themselves, unless that name is trouble.

The term Spam tag was perhaps misused.... established in a time when new tags formed every set and 'spammed' people with join messages. In this case it seems it may have been a misnomer. However it still stands, in my opinion, in the definition stated in the EWPP. STONES is not an established tag and neither is OMA. After this set, I would hope that OMA would strive to exist without causing problems as well as people giving OMA a chance to start up and establish themselves.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I'm not here to argue, so when I'm trolled, don't expect a reply ;) And yes, both STONES and OMA, regardless of their tag classification was given DNH by SoL for what it's worth...

^^^ So much this. The main reason for including non-signers was to make it clear that any large alliance who initially refrained from the signing would still be liable for their actions... and uNAPs and pacts won't save them.

OMA has 4 members. No relations. If you cannot retal them effectively, what makes you think warring them would be any more successful? If EvO needs all our help to fend of a 4 country tag... they have some major issues. THe intent of this was to prevent early wars. Not ROFLstomp small tags who fight back. I doubt that situation will ever come about...

This pact has but ONE intention: Eliminate fluffty OOP wars and make the game more fun. The paranoia that led up to the OOP wars is now alleviated. Secondary... talking may help mend relations... any alliance members wishing to join the chat, contact me.

Blid/Furious: If you want to aggressively farm a large tag... they won't need the other signers to stomp your ass, they will do it themselves.

Just because inhaling liquid water will kill you doesn't mean you shouldn't drink it. Being innovative with uses of every day items, or in this case crops, is how big discoveries are made.
