Watching LaF net in peace against little to no competition was almost as boring as this thread. I guess the fluff suicides have allowed the game to last a few more sets, while you all pretend that there are still politics that matter here. There is about as much substance to EE politics as there is in a Ugandan Election.

None of the alliances are getting stronger, the game is just dying a slow, slow death. None of the wars have a purpose anymore. No one fears LaF and LaF fears no one. No one cares about their finishes. No one has anything to lose by suiciding. No one has anything to gain by winning a war. No one has anything to gain by finishing 1st in a reset. No one cares about anyone's stats. No one cares about anyone's reputation. No one cares about anyone's credibility.

Any fluffing over pact breaking, suiciding, netting, whining, or warring is all just bullfluff at this point.

These type of games have a natural life span, there's not much the developers can do at this point. Same thing happenned to astroempires, except the devs tried to make big changes and made it worse. Thanks for some good years ee peeps. I'll linger for a lil while :)

Traders need way more jets than grabbers Vic. Ghost acres minimums get real high real quick.

C/I has never been a particularly viable netting strat anyway. Cheap military isn't really that terrible of a thing and will inevitably go higher wen demand exceeds the amount of supply that the bots can accommodate.

That said, I can't see why it would be difficult to configure bots to sell their goods at whatever the current market price is for that good type.

I don't think Mehul ever intended for this game to be peaceful at all. I mean if he did, all of these 'improvements' QZ and Co have made to coddle the 'netting' types would have been done a long ass time ago.

The restart changes def aren't for netters, they are for war tags

Most of the other changes made seem to nerf netters more than help them, at least the recent ones.

Also I don't think anyone that posted is actually jelly, but it is fun to make fun of you for being lame-sauce. :)

Most of us probly don't care who wins/loses a set. There's a very select group of ppl that have a remote chance of finishing rank 1. That said, for those ppl who aren't tier 1 netters, it wud be unlikely that they wud feel halfway decent about winning a set by leeching off someone else and not off the sweat of your own back. It's not half as much fun if u can't do it on your own.

I mean who wants to have to be polite and say thank you and have to name their country after some other toolbag. I guess it depends on who helps you, but I mean I don't want to be indebted to some dork, like forgotten for instance, that would totally suck.

STONES is just a young alliance. I'm glad they stuck around. They'll get it eventually. They will have to bend the knee a few more times diplomacy wise and deal with getting tag - killed when they decide to inflate the illusion that they are big and bad. But every farm tag turned small alliance goes thru that I think. They've earned their right to stay, I think a few of the larger alliances pacted them out this set.

I'm still trying to figure out if they actually killed a BOT or if they just went after #390 which obv isn't a BOT but is also not a good land farm for many ppl considering his jet count. Anybody have the country number of the dead BOT?
