Your alliance did a great job of abusing the game code by Self Farming and land trading. I Can't say you did so hot. Did you have any alive at the end of the set? Only person I'll give credit too from Mercs was CX. He hit his ANW totals without FAing, Buyouts or Self Farming/Land Trading.


And FYI. PoD warred for 3-4 weeks against NiceGuyz. So say what you want, at least I finished the set with 16 countries jackass :)

You really should keep your mouth closed when talking to war clans. They got nothing better to due than ruin your netting set. And they will have the GREATEST time of there lifes doing it.

I think that covers about all of it.

1) Demo Farmer, not so much. Rep/Farmer --> Fasc/Farmer --> TMBR seems to be a good strat. Commie Indy has gotten better. TTR still works. Rep/Casher still works.


2) Nobody wants to see Coalitions return to the game. So you won't see TC or TF again. PANLV, FoCuS and KA tried for 1 set, that didn't go so well for them. Swords returned for a few sets. Gangbanged by KA and PANLV in one set. Warred SancTFFA in another set. Warred Xtinct in another set. And during our last set, one of our members took it upon himself to suicide on TKO and convince a few of our other players that it was authorized. That prompted a FS by TKO back on us and members that were not involved in the suicide were killed. It was at that point, that the remaining Swords players that didn't suicide on TKO, and were not inactive, created Paragon of Duality. Since then, we have not recruited any new members. And have lost a few to inactivity.


3) Utopia hasn't stopped. Go to http://www.utopia-game.com to find it. If your looking for a kingdom there, let me know. I have been playing that non stop for a few years, while Earth 2025 was down.

4) They have the numbers to do well, but there activity and organization has lacked recently. They have had pretty poor showings in there last few wars.

5) A lot of losers still hang out there. FFA is still the coolest spot. Although you will find more 1a'ers over here and vica versa.

6) I may be able to help you get a hold of thorny. Cisco has kept in contact with some of the other DWAR guys, I could get a hold of Cisco and see if he has a way to contact Thorny for you.

Thats not quite how the Ghost Acres work from what I understand.


He may have been out of SS/PS DR but he was likely not out of Ghost Acre DR. Check the news, was he SS/PS 72hrs prior or sooner by someone else? If so, he was still in Ghost Acre DR.

If he did it without Self Farming, Self Land Trading, FAing or Buyouts and then someone may have concidered it an accomplishment.

CX's accomplishment is something he can be proud of. Nothing rockman did this set is.

I had a fun set. Had a war for about 2 weeks. Not sure how many kills I got. Top country finished around 70m NW afterwards.

I'm getting pretty lazy though, I got a business I am starting up and my 1st kid on the way in Oct. Probably will take next set off.

Rockman - I don't quite understand you... You appear to be very smart. Yet you do some of the dumbest fluff. Do you think this situation really has made you look good? Until you can control your arrogance, you'll likely never hold a record on this server.

I saw this coming a mile away. Rockman can be an ass if he wants, but pissing off the wrong bored war clan will never end well... And I figured he would or had already done just that.

I'm likely not playing next set. So, its not a threat from me.

But I'd be suprised to see merc's get the same pacts they got this set, after they publically called everyone on this server garbage.

If I were them, I'd head back to 1a and leave FFA for the FFAers. None of us care what 1aers think, so his arguement is pretty null and void.

Thanks Pain for offering the retals for this. I am going to let it slide and not make any retals. There is no reason to take land at this stage of the game, it would be more productive to just finish out the set as I am planning.

Why does it always have to be politically motivated? Why can't we just plan a server war, with the partys already listed above. Create 2 teams, and smash the hell out of each other for fluffs and giggles?

A Fair, Fun, Server War would look like:

NBK + CC vs PANLV, FoCuS, Mercs, Salt, IMP, Ares and PoD


Both sides of that conflict would have friends and enemys they are trying to kill. Which would keep it fun.

It wouldn't lose its meaning. It would require you to invest in Spy Tech in order to have increased successes after a country becomes spied out. I'm not saying, make it like the country isn't spied out. I am saying, it could increase the successes from 5% or whatever it currently is for spied out countries, to around 25%. Which in turn, would make spy tech more useful and sought after in countries.

Good suggestion for Med Tech...

Maybe spy tech could also reduce the failures on a "Spied Out" country

I Disagree Completely. Using your countries to Interact with other players is what this game is about.

Why don't we just get rid of the military and add Roses, Candles, LoLCats and Unicorns instead. Roses could be worth the same as troops, Candles and LoLCats would be the same as Jets/Turrets, Unicorns would be tanks. Then you could really enjoy the game rockman. You wouldn't have to worry about any player interactions. And your countries having Troops/Jets/Turrets and Tanks wouldn't be a complete contridiction of itself, since nobody expects Roses, Candles and LoLCats to attack anyone.




If you believe that FAing and market buyouts are overpowered, make suggestions for change. I think that Self Farming and Self Land Trading is much easier to fix though, and I personally feel its against the spirit of the game. So I aim to fix this issue, by making suggestions and having conversations about it until something is done. Personally, I'd like to see it eliminated completely. But that will never happen. So instead of fighting it, I am trying to comprimise and make suggestions that allow players to either self farm or not, but still be able to compete with each other.

Is that supposed to prove that the Land Sizes in FFA are balanced and that Self Farming and Self Land Trading are not over powered?

Finishing 13th is pretty good in my book. I've never played the Express Server, so I don't know the dynamics or difficulty of it.

This isn't about your accomplishments though. I was simply proving a point. The BEST netters do not all Self Farm or Self Land Trade.

There are several great netters that are not given any options beside hitting themself to win. And since alot of them don't believe it is within the spirit of the game to hit themself, they are kicked to the curb and are not given a legitimate chance at competing.
