I think that whatever DR a country has will be eliminated the moment it has gained more land than it lost, i.e DR only applies for countries who have lost more land than they have gained.

Im guessing that either those countries that hit him dont know about DR, or they're part of the plan. Seems really dumb to lose tens of thousands of jets for <100 land

1) accumulate max turns, start the game slowly
2) get land fat with low nw, so that people keep hitting you
3) on 2nd last day of reset, start using all your turns, get as much land as possible. People won't hit you cos of your insane DR, and those who do take barely anything
4) profit

I'm pretty sure that some countries use this method to abuse the DR mechanism. Don't even need proper defense because you lose barely anything when hit.

Somewhere at the start of the set (around now, for example) you grab someone. Let's say you take 150-200 acres. Nothing happens, no retal. Then on the last day, that fella does a PS that takes 1500 acres, and tells you it's a retal.

A few minutes ago my country was suddenly deleted or destroyed, I dont know. Thinking that this was permanent or that something went terribly wrong I created a new one to check the news, because I thought that maybe I was the victim of some super coordinated 500+ attacks in the span on 1 minute.

It turns out that my old country was still there, but now I have this brand new country that I am stuck with and I'm unable to play my old one.
