Wow, I'm 4th in Dictators with Lemming in round 45. The sad part is I almost always play Republic or Demo :) I think that was perhaps the first New GDI round

With some strategies its advantageous to start early, with others to start late. The ability to store lots of turns just adds an extra dimension to the game. Also, sometimes people only have a lot of time to play around the weekend and this lets them save up turns for then.

My ex wife ended up with the Gremlin. She also put a big dent in the 77 Monte Carlo. Me and some friends got totally wasted and destroyed the Gremlin with Sledge Hammers, Crow Bars and Axes, They had to drag it away/ Yeahhhhh!

Incidentally, it being 6:00 am here in Nova Scotia, The 1977 AMC Gremlin had a 256ci engine and a hatchback. Mine was brown, with subtle sparkles in the paint. It was ugly from one perspective, and beautiful from another. It had so much weight in the front that it would spin on a dime, especially in Ottawa where I drove it for 8 years. I would also beat Camaros and Trans Ams on the straightaway on Carling Ave. A very cool car, and they are all gone, because they crashed

Anyway, my new srategy, Tyr OIler Demo TMBR etc, lacks an endgame.

Its not a matter of being lazy at all. Since just about every 5 to 12 turns I go to the tech market, it is a lot of extra mouse clicks and its a waste of time since there is plenty of room for one more button on the main screen.

Also, there should be quick keystrokes so that all the mouse clicks are unnecessary, like ALT T for tech market. Why not speed up the game by simplifying the main commands?

The "market" tab leads directly to the goods market. There should be a tab on the main menu that leads directly to the tech market to reduce time and keystrokes.

Personally when tech prices are too high I just save turns to the max, put in standing orders at around $2000 and wait for the price to drop. You can keep your $3000 tech :)

Yes you are right Helmet. I was just upset for a while there because they are assholes and I don't like them. However, there are strategies in the game to allow oneself to get reasonable protection from being destroyed, and I will use them, build up my defenses, and be more aggressive. Fair enough.

Its good that one can't just sit back and netgain in Express. I just forgot that for a while I guess. But still, there are assholes who go too far.
