Incidentally, it being 6:00 am here in Nova Scotia, The 1977 AMC Gremlin had a 256ci engine and a hatchback. Mine was brown, with subtle sparkles in the paint. It was ugly from one perspective, and beautiful from another. It had so much weight in the front that it would spin on a dime, especially in Ottawa where I drove it for 8 years. I would also beat Camaros and Trans Ams on the straightaway on Carling Ave. A very cool car, and they are all gone, because they crashed
