I read someplace that Pang is working on porting the game out to Facebook, if that's true then yeah an app probably would be easily done after that

Would be nice if the game mods could comment. Would they allow hanlong to make the apps? I guess it could be a fair trade. hanlong earns some $ on the apps and in return the game hopefully gets more players.

The advantage with an app would be that people who are browing the app markets would be able to find and try the game, people who otherwise probably never would find it on the web.

I agree, I would pay 5 bucks for the app, how many of us paid preimum membership to swirve. Would the admins allow somebody other then them to make an app and earn profit from their game though?

Anyway, iphone/android app would attract new players, connect it with facebook and we got n00bs to farm/recruit like back in the days :)

Well the mobile portal is okay I guess, but you need to zoom in and out and the menu could be better. An app would be much easier with better size on the text and the output formated for a smartphone. (Pushbacks would be sweet, when your goods have sold on the market, if you are hit etc, but that would have to be cleared with the admins I guess).

But another big reason was like I said the chance to attract new players. If there is an app on the android/iphone market, I think we could get more people trying this game.

Imo there's no good reason to keep it illegal other then possibly the fact that legalizing it could perhaps(probably) increase the usage. But then I smoke myself and I think the world would be a better place if people switched from alcohol to weed :), but those who are against weed see the increase of usage as something negative and I guess that is what it all comes down too.

Fastfood, candy, soda, nikotin, alcohol and a whole bunch of other stuff are all legal and accepted in our society but we all know it's unhealthy, yet we still consume it.

As to the argument that weed is a gateway drug, I don't agree. From my own experience alcohol is the first drug (yes it's a drug!) most people try, it opens up a new world where you discover you can get into other states of consciousness by taking a substance. Either we should make everything that is unhealthy illegal or we can give people the freedom to decide for themselves what they wish to put in their bodies.

As to the fear of addiction, I think it's a stupid argument. People will always find something to get addicted to, be it gambling, fastfood or whatever. Alot of people have disciplin and can control their consumption, they should not have to be restricted in their freedom because of a minority group that probably will find something to get addicted to one way other another anyway!
