In my opinion they we are the most honorable clan playing at the moment. At least we have proved time and time again that if you sign a pact with us, we will honor it.

Judging by 80% of the community replies to what has gone on this set, they would happily sit by and watch an ally and an alliance they have pacted die.

That should be the route that hate gets directed at, but it is much easier to bandwagon on laf.

Everyone who plays under LaF plays by LaF policy.
Everyone who plays under PDM plays by PDM policy.

Outgoing or incoming that how it works.

It is then up to the respective contacts and leaders to negotiate, NEGOTIATE being the key word to find a middle ground between the two if at all possible.

I've been playing for about 4 sets, if you didn't know how tightly LaF and SoF are pacted then you had all this coming.

Do MD play while burrying their heads in the sand for the last 2 years?

Very nice FS from MD I have to say. Also like the attitudes from their leaders.

Its the games worst secret.. Heck is it even a secret? That LaF and SoF are allies. So props to MD for warring knowing that the FDP would get called.

I very much believe wars should be fought 1 vs 1. But my leaders have relationships and I play under their command.

Here is to a fun xmas warring for everyone involved.

The idea is you message H4 back and negotiate. He is playing a roll in negotiation called "hardball" or "hard to get".

Providing you don't have an impostor on our irc channel for the last so many months, you where always a pleasure and helped me a great deal in some of my countries. Heck, only until 2 months ago I didn't even know you where in a different alliance.

Anyway, thanks TAN. Grabbing in this game is an interesting concept that I am yet to really get my head around. It almost seems to me like ghost acres are the problem. But I come from a very different game when it comes to grabbing. This thread is helpful.

Why is outrunning retals deemed to be so bad? Surely the idea is to hit a player, and then make a country that he cannot hit back. Thus gaining land? The idea of hitting someone, and staying stationary so they can hit you back seems silly.

This has nothing to do with anything really only my 5th set :D, just wanted clarification. I am an all x, because it honestly looks like people are trying to outlaw any grabbing thats no A) farming noobs B) landtrading illegal.

Evo has hit you roughly 1/3rd of the times LaF has.

That means, to my knowledge (and i am a new player) the hits per player should be roughly the same?

Of course a bigger alliance is going to hit you more times than a smaller one. I still don't really understand this issue, and why you chose to make it public.

In my experience, everybody in the leadership rolls in LaF are more than a pleasure to deal with, so I think you should start by contacting them.

I don't know a greatdeal about the game, but i am pretty sure I play with a fair few players who if they wanted to landtrade could have you on a plate set in set out, so try not to get bigheaded.

From a noobie point of view it looks heavily against the favour of SoF,

But I have played 3 sets, and all 3 of them I've warred and been killed by SoL. They know how to war, and there restarts kill more than the normal countries.

Very good team when they want to be.

The land price should be incremental. So at the start of the set it when you are low in and it should be cheaper than when you are high. In the same way exploring works.

Sure it makes everything a little more random, but imo thats a good thing. I dislike warring/killing being robotic.

Pang, as far as my knowledge goes, Chewi/LaF'ers didn't go into Primary with the sole objective of screwing it up, they only started discussing the idea when it was clearly obvious there was other people "cheating" and nothing was getting done about it.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

You guys should be glad you have admin's and mod's that are active and care about/freshen up/make changes.

The best idea is the idea we have at LaF. I am the leader, SG is a puppet on a set of strings. I make all the decisions and he takes the flack for it. You should all adopt similar internal workings. There is no need for a board.

On topic, its a good idea, but my experience on other games suggest it wouldn't work very well, and the way some of you guys talk to each other on alliance talk, I can't pretty much give a guarantee it wouldn't work. You're attitudes need changing to help a new board like that to set up.

Just my 0.2 on this thread but was there any need to start and continue it? It's just one big flame war that makes a lot of people look bad! How do you expect new players to find alliances ect when they have to troll through threads like this?

It's a new set, treat it as a clean slate and move on. Some of the things being moaned about here are years ago.

Calling into question the integrity of Pang is pathetic, imo the guy has only tried to do good things for this game and would never abuse his position under any situation.

Keep bringing up the Hanlog situation is pathetic as well, What do you expect LaF members to do because 1 person cheated? Let a community they have been apart of for years break up and die? No they will rebuild it without the cheater. Goku is doing a great job, stop tarnishing his efforts with that of a cheater.

Anyway, look forward to the new set/new slate.
