for ghost acres all you need to know is land and nw so you can send the proper units, defense makes no difference, DR does make a difference but that only matters if you care about every little acre and your target has DR or you have hit them in the set already.

If you want to know the maximum ghost acres you can get think of the base around 40% and it will fluxuate depending on DR factors and C:C DR, but as long as you are 95-100% of your NW target you will get the most you can get if you send the proper amount of units.

Oil destock is alot harder then a normal land destock, first you need to get to a massive size to make the most of it (250k-300k acres) then you need to aquire 500 million+ barrels at prices less then 200, then you are spending 30b cash on deconstruction costs end set to drop the land on top of the 100b+ cash spent building it up and the 50b cash spent on oil and units to aquire it, all so you can play the last 3-5 days of the set worth of turns.

If you did the same thing and did it smart and kept your costs just as low as the top 10 players do without oil you would finish higher if you planned your destock proper.

the peaks are never the same and this set didn't see any action either so was even less demand, most demand comes from week 1 to week 6 from people grabbing bots, the rest is those that are planning for oil destock, which is far less then the demand from grabbing. But even if you added 1 more person playing a full oiler all 16 it would over correct the market, but if you ran the farmer bots FFO it would balance out and be more stable on the market.

then you have to add in bot grabbing having to now send 8x as much as you did only a year ago, and with the amount of bots on FFA DR was never a problem so the gains were the same.

this server suffers the most from not having oiler bots I had to spend 600b cash leftover buying out the entire tech market I did leave like 100k indy points for someone else to overspend on though. throughout the set I was able to buy 1.5b oil barrels and 1b of it was over 500$+ and still came way short, even until final hour nothing was picked up by SO's and nothing showed up on market.

why would anyone do this in the first place its a net loss for any attack no matter how much you gain, the only time end of set attacks are worth it is for transferring some stock.
