Yep nobody needs to slang here. MD is a great warring alliance and clearly elders punches above their weight. Stones only your hpm let you down here and that's generally due to activity and experience. Which as you grow stronger and more experienced that will improve.

Finally a great fairly balanced war.

You had nw advantage, they had numbers. You came out strong with a lead, elders and stones got into gear and took over on hits and kills. MD rallied, and seriously cut through the hitters for stones and elders. Almost tag kill on stones, elders as well.

Such a great war for both parties. Had stones hpc / hpm been higher I think war would have tipped in elders / stones favor.

I agree trading between tags is worse than inter tag trading. No two tags should hit each other and it be okay and it not be war... Lame
either way both forms of trading aren't the way the game was designed.

I think ghost acres were designed to assist a retaller get his land back whilst minimising the effect for both parties.

Having said that with the numbers so low, its hard to play the game how it was intended.

It used to be that when you war, and lose. You rebuild and plan revenge for next set.

Now most wars aren't even, and people quit the game..

Looks like today was the tipping point in the war where elders and stones got the advantage. More kills, more hits and less nw loss.

MD needs to focus on Elders not stones. Elders the greater threat.

The fact that this is a text game isn't the main reason its declining. Its a reason but not the main one.

I remember my first few sets being completely swamped. I remember my very first set coming from utopia. I remember being like 50k nw and threatening some guy via message that I had like 10,000 troops and to watch out... Haha he probably thought who is this idiot I've got millions of turrets. Thinking back I really had no clue, I didn't know about multies, I would get farmed all set and not realise shy, and its think it'll be great if I can just get to 1,000,000 nw. Honestly I loved it. Every new set I was filled with excitement about the set ahead. What big clans were gonna war. In those days you had wars with 6-8 tags eaach side. There was loads of threads on at and it was bustling with excitement. My little tag sitting on the sidelines, oh my those were the days. I got recruited and the rest was history...

I want that bustle back into this game... So sad to see this thing in its current state... Sigh

I feel for rr here. Wars don't always make sense but there normally a net gaining bunch.. Anyways a little shake up is good, and in the ole days an ally wouldn't stand for an ally getting there ass handed to them by a second set tag...

Rival / rage are done. 10 dead and 2 on vacation within first day. Only countries left aren't stocked... Wondering when rr will call in an ally as the Dec reason was soft at best. Maybe sol? Sof or lcn?

Sorry to say it but this game has been with many of us for over 10years plus. How did we let it come to this?

You say that its only the community that keeps the lights on, but I disagree and agree. I still find a new set a challenge. Trying new gov types, with different builds to see if its a chance at decent nw finish.

This will never attract any crazy number of players like fb mafia with millions of users. But with slight ux updates and online marketing there would be at least 10,000 players globally that would be actively engaged and contribute.

With many more players, any one clan becomes not such a powerhouse. So much more game dynamics are opened up.

And the fun could be brought back... It would be a shame to see this game keep dying and shut off...

That's not crashing the market. A dollar difference wont change the market as people who know how to sell will price up a few $$ knowing it'll still sell once lower price bushels go.

Crashing would be market price of $37 and selling for $31. That means everyone has to drop their price just to sell or dump on private and nobody wins

Damb you guys think you have it bad? Meanwhile in AUS $19 for normal movie ticket and if you want to see it in gold class where they serve food and drink? $30 a ticket. Large frozen coke $6, large popcorn is $7-$9. You'll easily spend $30pp.

Gold class with 2 tickets, food and a drink will set you back $100...

Better not pick a fluff movie, cause the food ain't that great...

Every major problem with this game comes down to player numbers, not countries. When you have any one group enforcing a playing style on other, you lose players. This has been happening for over 10 years. To the point now were sub 360 countries and we now have an ewpp to make sure everyone plays the same its bs..

But on the flip coin the only players left are okay with it.

With enough players not one single group can dictate hoe another clan plays. You have server wars, block wars, and those were fun times. Your side loses? There is enough players to form alliances, leverage through politics and plot revenge.

And the state of the game now we won't get new players.. Its a vicious cycle.

In all honesty though. 25 v 16. Elders are vets and warmongers. I think it would be a good match up. Would also test any clowns that were hanging around (if any)

Depends on what you do. I often need multiple windows open at a time and don't like running minimised windows on one screen due to resolution. (Web designer + developer).

But would agree 100% with identical screens. Get 2 of the same 24". Also depending on your work a 32" or even 27" resolution isn't ideal.
