ok i am glad EVO has made it clear that they will retal any landgrab during an indefinitately long retal window. Why don't you retal some of the grabs being made on your countries now? Or are you waiting a few weeks until you can build up the strength to muster a retal? Let me know how that works out for you. Good luck with that.

yes i brought this up last set too. Doesn't make sense to have the same 72 hour retal window now that there is 1 turn every 15 minutes. As of now there is no reason to grab any decent team because chances are at least one of their members will be able to grow to retal you within 72 hours.

Teams are going to have to begin by enforcing a 48 hour retal window during which they will accept retals. No team will agree to only a 48 hour window to pefrom a retal. This change is going to have to come from teams accepting retals within 48 hours, not giving retals within 48 hours.

I think it make sense but it will have to be decided by teams and likely through war as the country on the bottom end of this policy will not be happy. But in terms of numbers it makes good sense. In terms of execution, it is going to take some war and politics.

I'm not complaining about 72 hour retal policies, I'm just saying that these policies were created years ago under older formats in which players got 1 turn per 30 minutes, maybe 1 turn per 20 minutes in Council. Nobody has considered the effect of the 1 turn per 15 minutes on these old policies.

I got hit a few times early in the set for a 50, 60 acres and was able to retal 48 hours later for over 1k acres. The 15 minute/ turn accelerates the pace of the game and it seems it would make sense to lower the retal window.

Again I'm not complaining, I'm trying to bring up a point for discussion. Has nobody else thought about this? Could you imagine a 72 hour retal window in express?

72 hours is too easy with 4 turns per hour that is almost 300 turns you can use to build up to take your retal. Not like anybody accepts retals on this server, anyway, but a 48 hour retal window would be probably be more apropriate imo.

Old 1a we had 1 turn per 30 minutes, so a 72 hour retal window was effectively a 36 hour retal window in terms of how many turns the player gets to play to build up to take the retal.
