How much do missiles weaken the SDI? Is it a set amount or a portion?

Does military strategy tech count towards missile attacks? For example, does it increase how many civilians you kill with CM or how much acres you destroy with NM?

Yeh it would be nice to know the formula for the effects of luck.

I just assumed that if you increase luck by 0.4%, then you have 0.4% extra luck for producing a missile and having a successful spy op. For example, if warfare was 2%, then 0.4% luck would be 2% * 1.004 = 2.008% which is negligible.

If, say, you invested heavily in luck and have 2%, then 2% of 2% would be 2.04% which is still insignificant. I might be wrong with my assumptions though.

Also, I think they should make luck increase the chance of a positive event, such as a PCI or food boom. This would make this luck bonus option a bit more attractive. Although, I guess this is up to the developers to decide.

Maybe it depends on the server. I'm currently playing alliance and it says 200 acres under warfare technology descriptions. I will copy and paste the description down below.

Your research labs are always look at ways to develop new weapons. By committing research to this field, you give your country a greater chance of building a new type of weapon each turn. These weapons will then provide additional battle options for you to take advantage of. However, at any given time, you are limited to 1 missile per 200 acres you own (with a minimum of 10 missiles).

Simply I just want to know what's the difference between attack gains and ghost acres? If, say, attack gains is +20% and ghost acres is +20% (so same units), which one would be better to have and why?

I see. So going back to my earlier example, if I oversend 50% more units, I would end up losing the 8% of the breakthrough units plus 8% from the additional 50% units.

I'm assuming you do not gain additional acres or buildings from oversending, so ideally it's best to send only the required amount or a little bit extra just to be on the safe side.

Do log off bonuses still exist? I remember back in the Swirve days, you'd gain 3 extra turns for being logged off for 12 hours and 6 extra turns for 18 hours. Sometimes when I log in now, it says I've received an extra 3 or 6 turns for leaving my country alone. Is this not the log off bonuses?

I still do not quite understand the differences between tyranny +20% attack gains and dictatorship +33% Ghost Acres. So tyranny gains 20% more including buildings, technology, cash, bushels, acres (and ghost acres)?

What about dictatorship? Do they only gain +33% extra ghost acres from attacks only? I assume this does not include any buildings?

If tyranny also gains +20% extra ghost acres, does that mean the only advantage of dictatorship is +13% ghost acres when you're comparing just these 2 gains?

Is there a formula which calculates the estimated units lost from land grabs or attacks? If I over send 50% more unit during a land grab, does that mean I would lose 50% more of the units?

Also, does medical research reduces the lost of units when attacking? Under the technology description, it says medical research reduces the casualties whilst defending, but it does not mention anything to do with attacking.

Do you still need to pay for military expenses during the period your units are put on the market? What about when they are on brigade and currently unavailable from a planned strike? Is this the same for bushels as well? Thanks

I feel for you. It happened to me too. Not much you can do except to join a clan in alliance or start the game on time without missing any turns. Otherwise you can keep your land to a minimum but then it might affect your growth potential.

The only way they can resolve this issue is by somehow providing better protection for the smaller nw countries.

I'm sure there are a few clans out there who are more about NW and less about wars. They will mainly farm up bots. You just need to know which is the right clan for you xD

The noob guy I only attacked twice and stopped and I was only a little bit bigger than him at that time. This guy attacked me like 6 times and he's more than 4 times my size. haha it's fine, like I said I might start up on time in the next round. Thanks anyway

I know. I'm just annoyed that these things happen not just in real life but in game too. The rich just gets richer by taking advantage of the poor/weak or late starters. I'm talking about social inequality or injustice. It just really annoys me that's all.

I think it shouldn't be 4X allowed to attack you. It should be 2X and no more. There's no way I can break through his defence.

Well I had no choice but to grow a bit and retal. I'm not going to let a monster country attack me for no reason and get away with it. I also disarmed some of his missiles.

Yep, that's right. I played earth back then when it was with swirve.com . They were the good old times. This is the reason why I came back because I miss those fun days with my friends and a lot of players online at the time.

If I had a lot of money, I would invest some of it on earthempires. Unfortunately that's not the case. I do not have a degree in marketing and advertising as well.

Are there any bots in alliance? If so, how can you tell which country is a bot?

Also, do bots play a role in the market, e.g. do they sell and buy from the market like normal human accounts do?

I am also a returning player back from around 2005/2006. Although I played mainly on the primary server and a bit on tourney in the early 2000s when I was still a kid.

I remember the game being a lot bigger and more popular back in the days. Utopia was also massive back then too and they were on the same server. I think there were at least 6k players in primary server in 2005 and prob more than 20k players in early 2000s or late 90s. Just to finish in the top 100 was a huge achievement back then and I did it once back then. Now a days, you just need to create an account and make 100 turns just to stay in the top 100 lol

Alliance or FFA was never my thing back then. It was a bit too hardcore for me and I preferred to play at my own pace. Although one of my high school friends did play it and was in a clan. I think there were at least 60k or 100k ppl in the FFA server back then (sorry my memory as a kid is a bit vague lol). All I remember was it was a lot bigger and I had most of my school friends playing the game too.

Tourney was also different back then. I think at least 10-15 levels going from A-Z back then too. I wish this game was still popular so we can enjoy the greater interactions and social experience. I wish it was still a challenge just to finish top 100 in primary server.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what happened to the game. Maybe the game just lost some popularity due to the evolution of other technologies. For me, my life just got busy when I started going to uni. It seems this game has still kept all its basic fundamentals. The land gain must have increased significantly, as I don't remember seeing countries with more than 50-100 k lands back then. Same with the networth due to the 2 billion bug.
