no one plays team anymore because who wants to kill the same low level countries set after set? 3 in a row was enough for me, after that it stopped being fun.

depends on context. land means less on the last day, are you in line for a decent finish? was you're set screwed already? do people doubt the size of your e-peen? are you in gdi? is he? are one of you noticeably stronger than the other at that point?

its a solo server, your retal policies are effectively whatever you're able to enforce. but generally if your set has gone well theres not much point in potentially throwing it away on the last day because someone had the audacity to hit you back.

I'm not sure how I feel about this thread. on one hand theres a guy who freaks out because he can't handle retals... on the other hand its a solo server and if the other guy is running a cookie cutter country with no substance behind it they deserve whatever abuse they they get because F U STOP ME IF YOU DONT LIKE IT. I'm a big fan of the latter, which is why I advocate farming them outright and not even waiting for the retals.

either way I am entertained. thumbs up to sml

Coming across an all jetter used to be fun... it was free fluffing land. then express came along, now the idiots have 300 turns to play with and you can't stop them from blowing their wad on retalling 'just cuz'.

there's a reason you don't see nearly as many jetters in tourny/primary... because all jetter is a sucker strategy.

to be fair, one of those bounces was on my country. the only reason that happened was because h2o got unlucky and bounced the first spy op, giving me time to research weapons.

the other 2 were complete noob grabbing but the 3rd wasn't his fault :)

sounds like a fun idea. I'm not nearly smart enough to figure out how you'd balance it though lol. you'd certainly have to use the express gdi rules or fools would be dying left and right.

could be what express was back in the day... a fun, short set that comes along every once in a while
