It's been a while since I played EE (almost 8-10 years), of course it was Earth 2025 back then.

I recently got back into this and I'm looking for a tutor/mentor who's up for the job of teaching me everything they know. Strats, best possible choices in different situations, and really any tips that go along with being a veteran EE player.

I want to become very experienced at this game and I know it takes time and a lot of practice, but it will be a shorter path to take with a veteran player along with me.

I think your best option would be to join an alliance on alliance server. Post a similar message on the Alliance Talk forums and I'm sure there will be plenty interested in teaching you. That way you get the benefit of many veterans and a fun community to boot.

Also, in your endeavor to find a mentor, notice that you can look at game profiles to see how certain people have done. If they are top 25 in NW all time on this game, then they are probably going to know what they're talking about =P

Similarly, if the alliance typically scores high in ANW, they most likely can teach their newer members how to net effectively. If you are looking to learn the art of war, then you'll want to see who people think are at the top. I'll leave my own personal opinions on all of that off of this forum, but that would be my suggestion for the best (and most fun) way to find help to learn the game.

Join NA if you want help. We have about 5 people providing strat help etc (including myself). So if you make a post, you get advice within a few hours.

for netting best places are evo, laf, omega and monsters and maybe na.

for warring best places are sof, sol and imag (although they rarely win their wars).

you might get better practice in ffa. 16 times the practice per reset! :P
