Only just seen /read this thread. Thats pretty f#%king sad. Have no idea who the guy is, but i hope he is still with us. Hope to hear some positive news soon!!

I've been casually checking in hoping for good news still. I hope whatever is going on with Dan, he's comfortable and at peace.

We probably should have asked for a family contact while he was around to pass through our wellwishes and whatnot. I hope they at least stumble onto this thread from viewing his browser history or something and know that he has many friends here and that his presence will be missed in this community.

It is with a great deal of sadness that I pass along word that Dan passed away on Saturday. His services will be today.

The game, and some of our lives will be far different as a result of the loss of him, he was a great guy, a great player, and the greatest of friends. My only consolation is that the months of suffering are finally at an end, and he's on to the next stage of mischief.
