llaar, I'm assuming it's because:

you have a lot of defense, so only #454 their retaller profits.
you are hitting countries with double your land.

This is correct. Either drop your defense by at least half, or stop hitting us. If you continue to hit us without dropping your defense, we'll kill you, effective immediately.

Sigh this is why I can't stand alliance server, when something doesn't go the way someone wants they complain to get someone to change (either stuff like this or crying to mods) instead of doing what they can in their powers.

If you can't retal someone that's YOUR problem, not the grabber's problem. Use your stock to buy jets and retal or get some more D so he can't hit you. On top of it all, PDM is a bigger alliance than NA, if you can't out net NA, who is constantly grabbed, then you are AWFUL at netting.

Are you fluffing kidding? We don't like something so we are threatening to use military force to enforce our will. We did llaar the favor of at least warning him. How is that not pure classic Alliance server justice. We could have done what many other tags would do and come up with some bullfluff reason to beat down a smaller tag. We didn't. We respected the rest of NA and sent a message to the source.

you're missing the point. i don't think they're complaining about you grabbing them. they're just letting you know what will happen if you grab them with a particular country.

i think it's awfully nice of TAN to give you a warning shot cross't your bow before sinking your battleship.

How is it llaar's problem you can't retal again? I think llaar should kill TAN's country out of spite.

I think where a lot of the frustration comes from is the fact that 2 sets ago, we were happily exchanging hits with llaar and other NA members that weren't big hassles... only to come to this set when llaar's 10k acre country starts tapping our 25k+ countries sitting on an 8m break =P Doesn't help the image much for NA from our perspective.

The issue isn't that we can't retal llaar. Even I can do that, and I've managed to completely and utterly botch my country this set. The issue is that when we do, it costs the person who makes the retal most or all of their jets- and often on two days straight. It's true that most members don't have too many jets- the grabbing lists encourage low defense countries (I was running with zero defense until just a week or two ago).

Had llaar been grabbing PDM underneath a pact, he would have violated it in at least two ways; firstly, for double tapping, and secondly, for grabbing countries with more than 150% or 200% (forget which one it is) of his land.

So as far as I'm concerned, this isn't completely rejecting llaar's argument; his numbers on the exchanges are correct, we've come up positive here overall. He's just being a pain in the ass at the same time. If he takes the steps to ensure he won't be so much of a pain in the ass, there'll be no protests should he start grabbing again.

Yeah I took his retal and bounced it. Botched a # in the attack calc so you can troll me as well. Makes two I bounced this set, last reset was only 1 retal bounced.

We are still up on land excluding ghosts. It is just a pain to have to retal someone half your land and twice your NW to get your land back. The bigger issue is that a few days ago llaar had 3 pending retals from PDM all at once. We came out way ahead but he had a rediculously high break for his NW and cost me stock and conversion time taking them.

We aren't even hitting llaar - he's been hitting us all reset. We're actually profiting from his hits, but the ones that profit from the hits are the retallers, not the defending countries. We're tired of him running massive defense and hitting some of our guys who have no hope of ever retalling. There is no justice in allowing him to continue hitting our guys who have no hope of ever reclaiming their land.

Anyway, the solution is simple - his country needs to stop hitting us for the rest of the set. Problem solved.
