I use the same IRC news server as basically everyone else to watch the feed as the chat is running, and work out breaks in my head on the fly from the hits made.

People have all sorts of motivations for building tools. Some people build them because they want their tag to have a competitive advantage. That is there prerogative. It is their time and effort to make them.

M4D does NOT need to share their tools with anyone. They also don't need to help the community improve, or help retain players. That is their prerogative, as you've so eloquently put it.


But - if they aren't going to do things that benefit the community, they should probably stop talking about themselves as if they are better than others, because they want to bring players back to the community. It's a farce, and I think I've pretty substantially proven that here.


They do not want to help the community, or retain players within the community. They want to help themselves, and retain players within M4D. And they want everyone else to think they are benevolent and trying to help the community.

I'd like us to figure out a way to censor Authors, where it just won't show in the forums as you read them.
