Our policy says

If the same country hits 1 or multiple SOL countries in a 72 hours time span we will retal 1:1 escalating. Going from the first too the last hit in the time window to divide the retals.

First hitting country gets 1
2nd hitting gets 2
3rd hitting gets 3

so on

If multiple countries from 1 tag hit 1 SOL country in a 72 hours time span we retal 1:1 escalating

We posted our policies earlier this week for clarification about Alliance wide escalating retals.

Okay that seems legit. Although we enforce 48 hours as well so that would be the only conflict between Collab and SoL. But that is for single grabs, multiple grabs extend the window to 72 hours.

Single grabs is no issue.

And a 48 hours retal window and a 72 hours tag tap policy don't have to cross paths really.

Example:

Country A Tagged Alliance X hits SOL Country B On monday 5PM
Country A Tagged Alliance X Hits SOL Country C On Tuesday 3PM
Country A Tagged Alliance X Hits SOL Country D On wednesday 3 PM.


Country A Is by SOL policy now subject too 6 Retals as he hit SOL 3 times within the 72 hours time span.



Now if we took 48 hours retal time.

Then the 1st retal has to be done before wednesday 5PM

The 2 retals that come from the hits on Country C have to be done before thursday 3PM

And the 3 retals coming from the last hit on country D have to be done before Friday 3PM

Our retal policy is 48 hours except when there are multiple grabs. We might do something of a similar nature, but 72 hours is a big window. With so little land that makes it too wide of a gap.

48 Hours seems better, with a 72 hour window to retal IF there are multiple grabs within that time frame. If only 1 grab, then the 48 Hour window stands.

Wow- from the land, member, and networth advantage LAF has I can't see how they loose. SOL really is playing with some guts to go after such a larger clan. So far they seem to be out hitting them but FS always bring that about. If they keep this pace going to could be a real close war.

LAF- wake up! Your countries are dieing! I can't cheer for you if you don't at least put up a good fight.

I think it'd be safe to take Monsters off that list with our history of only 1 FS in 12ish years of play.

Well, it's sad to say but Ragnarock did not make the list due to a certain leader they had that ran that clan into the dirt. I won't name any names but she ran that one into the ground and then came crawling to SOL until we booted her.

I was about to suggest that they FSed NLS back in the day, but now I remember that it was NLS that randomly FSed them.

During the SOL/EoS war in Nov-Feb 1998/1999, NLS outposted in EoS (this counts as SOLs 3rd reset) This reset was NLSes first as an alliance in 1A (even tho we outposted) This was the reset after RoCK vs LaF when LaF got a asswhopping (SOL Omega SG RoCK vs LaF EoS MD OOA TD)
Not releated not, this is also the set that MD was born.

March-April 1999 we warred RD after running into some trouble with Mr Orange , while we did this, most of earth was tied up in WW3 (HAN etc)

May-July 1999 is the set of the tigerbot, we warred BoA, Elitez and NC2003, ended the set fighting RD again in defence of Elitez.

Aug-Oct 1999 we made a coalition with TGA and Legion, and got in trouble with UCN over LGs (the coaltion, not NLS)
and the Arrow came in on UCN`s side.

Nov-Jan 1999/2000 was the great FOG war, no explation needed here.

Jan-Mar 2000 was the great SOL vs UCN war, BoA + NLS etc = ArM. Did nothing more than FA Elitez to whereas LCN whined alot.

March 2000 until june 2001 im not sure, so maybe here ?

NLS merged into SOL as a division in june 2001, this was SOLs 15th reset (june-sep 2001).

You had to be kidding because no one could have such a distorted memory, lol

BTW, Ragnarok is still around .... and I have never once been booted from an alliance on any server :P

But Machiavello's NLS group once declared war on Monsters "because they were bored."

I think it was the following reset (maybe 2 or 3 but pretty sure the enxt reset) that a major server wide war broke out that basically involved every alliance in the game.

MD and company vs the anti MD and company type of server war.

It was evenally matched, every major alliance was involved, no one could tell who was going to win.

and out of nowhere in support of MD, the Monsters hit NLS, (No one saw it coming), and basically steamrolled em. Which freed up other alliances and had a cascadin effect on the server war.

That was the one and only time NM ever did a FS. But they made it count.

I really cant recall it Servant, only set i can think of that matches that one is when TSA disbanded (Officialy) , this beeing the set of WW5, when a small conflict with Rage and Arrow turned into a server war and TSA vs TF

That reset ArM ended with 120 tagged, 15m anw and 1802m tnw
Monsters had 69 tagged 58m anw and 4000m tnw

Man, I had to recreate my account for the millionth time to be able to post here.

Regarding the FS done by NM, the FoG war was before my time but one of our older Monsters might remember how it went. I don't know if we FSed them however or that we simply CSed and rolled over them. Perhaps some of the real old farts know the details. I forgot them due to:
a) the stories of old farts never stick
b) too much alchohol
c) too much weed
d) a combination of a, b and c

I don't recall any FS's but that is because we never do them. We're peaceful, we play with respect for all players and we're always neutral and not involved in politics. We play our game our way as that is simply the only way we know... some might consider it sad or weird but hey, it's our way.
Hence why I always point out that we never netgain nor wargain.

We simply are... and always will be...
