Add @ triggers, which emails a user who is pinged in forums.

@slagpit would email you (slagpit). And perhaps have a small menu to turn on/off.

If you think about it,.. apps like Slack already have this idea.

Based off password resets not working - there's no functional smtp server to my knowledge.

Comparing an old forum to an electron app is a tough thing to think about.

They don't need a smtp server. Just use php built in function mail(....).

And setting up smtp is like super simple. No idea why that would be a challenge.

why would you even want to know if someone is pinging you on a forum here XD
