I don't think those are commys making military prices drop and looking back on past sets I see a number of countries that switched around this time of the set based on turns played.

Military prices in FFA are always fluff, and tech prices were good. Have fun!

There are supply/demand issues as well. IMO, that's where the big fat self farmers skew the game because they can put so much more product onto the market and if demand is low, the "little guys" have a hard time making a buck.

Yup. And the big self-farmers will also be able to jump a lot off of their private markets. They are also the ones keeping tech prices up. Quit whining about the game not being how you expect, and play it like it is ;p

I think we're discussing the game dynamic. SO quit whining about people whining when they're NOT whining. Whiner. ;p

Stating that I think something skews the game is simply an issue of opinion/fact.

Now had I said that the no-good-rooster-vaccumers-that-are-fat-self-farmers skew the game, then maybe your statement would approach correct.

At what point does it go from skewing the game to being the norm? This isn't new.

Very good point, but we all know they get pretty damn testy when they get grabbed, right? I mean, I don't think I'd grab a Fatass in clas like yours, or Mercs or NBK. Bad idea to piss off seasoned killers.

That I would mostly agree with, but I can see reasons to do it depending on who has done it.

Do you know how fricking expensive it would be to switch to MBR on 60k+ acres? No way I'm switching to TMBR on 60k acres, even if I put all my points into building costs.

12 of my 16 are theocracies, they haven't minded the high military prices. The dictators ... they just set market orders at 175 each day to get their military and were happy to be spending way way less on buildings than my theocracies, so despite having to pay much more for military, their economies were much stronger.

Switching to reseller might have been a good idea, we'll see how much the big techers stockpiling drops tech prices. Tech prices have been falling very fast, which my techers haven't liked. Switching to reseller definitely helps me, at least, so I'm happy he did it, even if its pushing my countries out of the top 50.

Yep. They can't stockpile while landtrading. Its incredible how much money needs to be spent on buildings while landtrading.

You don't need to market spy to see their stock at this point in the set. Look at land ;p

100K indies wow that would be a seriously messed strat :p

Not because expences alone, but because you would need +2B on hand just to run turns :P

Not really. If you get decent bus/res/mil techs, you'll have positive income as a commie indy. But building a decent amount of land would require +2B cash on hand, but techers and farmers would also face that problem.
