I haven't been able to see where I am in any stat on the leader boards; they show "Unranked" for everything. It did say something about privacy settings, but I've checked all the boxes. Is there something I'm missing?

Yeah, looks like a bug to me. He's had live countries at the end of the set in both alliance and FFA, yet is still unranked in all categories on those servers. He even has a top 100 in alliance, but it doesn't give him credit for it on the all time list for top 100s.

is your board-profile linked to game-profile?

If it wasn't it would say unlinked account (or so I thought)

it's linked as far as i know. i can click on the little icon near my name on the forum, and my gamer profile comes up. also, when i log in to the earth portal, i'm also logged in to my forum account.

Really? That's a bit ridiculous. Out of 40-something kills, 30 or so were legit. There were 3 people at the top of the kill list that set- myself, AJ, and Pain - with good separation from the 4th position. I did that messing around, not paying attention to the in-game leader boards, not to piss off NBK or anyone else- mostly just to mess with AJ (who was 1 or 2 kills ahead of me).

Take a look at the stats for that country, instead of just going by synoder's statement that "He killed himself over 40 times". On top of that, in the thread that synoder started about this, Pain said he did the exact same thing as me. He's still on the leaderboards.

Furthermore, I was never notified of this and I wasn't given any chance to discuss it with any of the admins. As as administrator, Slagpit, I would think that you have the responsibility to at least investigate before punishments are handed out.

Being permanently removed from the leaderboards in ALL stats is way over the top, especially when it was a single stat that was skewed by maybe 14 points. It sets a poor precedent- it's being punished without breaking any rules. It's inconsistent as well: self-farming, missile dumps, GSing into DRs, FA chains... these all boost stats in FFA using your own countries. I don't see anyone being removed from the leaderboards for any of that (yeah I went there).

And finally... I'm not super concerned with my leaderboard rankings. None of them would be that good. Just kinda pissed that I was permanently removed from all stats for a retarded reason.

That's quite a speech. Instead of making factually incorrect excuses for yourself did you ever think to ask to be reinstated on the leaderboards?

lol sorry for getting you removed from the stats pokey. That wasn't my intention, that was back when people kept complaining that we were sniping kills and saw you doing that and found it funny. Also I was trying to get the most kills of the set :)

By factually incorrect, you mean my stat estimates were off by 4? I went back and did the counting, so in that case, you're right. 26 vs NBK kills and 18 vs PANLV kills. In my opinion, +-4 doesn't change the validity of the argument, and it certainly wasn't being used as an excuse.

Other than that, I'm not sure what's factually incorrect in there. Pain killed 7 of his own countries to boost his stats and is still on the leaderboards- that's a fact. I wasn't notified of this, no rules were broken, this 'policy' isn't consistently enforced, and there are plenty of ways that stats are boosted regularly in FFA using your own countries- all facts.

I guess I don't know if anyone else has been removed from the leaderboards for self-farming or something along those lines, so I could be wrong there. I highly doubt that's happened, though. Maybe my leaderboard stats are actually awesome, and that's the factually incorrect part.

I'm not trying to be a fluff, Slagpit, and I don't know which part of my 'speech' was asking you to mock me. If you have the time, do you think you could reinstate me on the leaderboards?

I'm pretty sure some of the top people (especially the top guy) have done some attacks on their own countries, and are still listed on the attacks top chart.

As for the top missilers chart, tons of people have used voluntary missile dumps for their EMs, so should we remove from the top lists any warmonger who dumps his EMs to make room for more missiles?

And those who donate a country to be an EM dump, they get boosted up the top defends list, so should we remove them from the top lists?

Yeah, a ton of my 'attacks' have been on myself as well. The majority of ffa stats are skewed by the nature of how most people, at least netters, play the game. To single out one person from the list is pretty ridiculous.

The missile dumping of EMs affects warrers much more than it affects netters. So both types of players are affected.

If you stop doing 1A landkills on your own countries, sure.

What I find "ridiculous" is that you guys are pretending not to see a difference between normal, ingame activities that incidentally contribute to leaderboard scores and behavior that accomplishments nothing besides boosting one leaderboard stat at the expense of all of the others.

I won't give any names, but I've seen FFA players dumping their missile stocks on untags for no reason other than to stay in the top of the missilers leaderboards.
