it has been said that - in summary - 1a netters can pawn ffa netters. maybe so, maybe not, but if you haven't had a chance to try netting on the ffa server you should. Crazy markets, lots of land, be a multy !! Use you 16 countries as you see fit, fa yourself, grab yourself ( non sexually ) whatever. give it a try for a set.

For the most part I agree, but the last two sets have seen a drastic improvement in the quality of countries on the FFA server. Still not up to the level of alliance server, but much much better than it was a few months ago.

FFA is retarded. You cant win unless you hit yourself. Take a peak at the top 10/25, it speaks for itself.

And using your countries together to kill isn't self-interaction? Whatever happened to kill runs requiring player interaction? On the alliance server, you have to coordinate kill runs with other people, and you need to get at least 5 or 6 guys online just to get one kill. Now on FFA you can kill without ever talking to another player. There's no coordination between players needed. When killers stop using their countries cooperatively in kill runs, I'll stop using my countries cooperatively to netgain.

Maybe PoD has no player interaction, but Mercs had player interaction during both netting and warring. For training, planning, and coordination. And in fact, even for landtrading.

But our interactions with each other in Mercs were mutually beneficial, rather than us being douchebags to each other. When the only way you know how to interact with another person is to be a jerk to them, no wonder you don't try and interact with your clanmates.

I used to argue that point all the time. But it just never got through to warrers, and since they are warrers i dont get why they care. So i have given up trying to convince warrers in FFA otherwise.

there is a lot of player interaction, lots of strat discussions - there are kill runs all the time. you must have been in a lame ffa clan or something. It is like sex - if you don't like it then you are doing it wrong
