We have updated our wiki's retal system. From this point forth any landgrab upon a MD nation performed within the last 3 weeks of a set, will be retalled 150% L:L.

The point being, MD is not breaking new ground with this type of clause.

Meh, not like a lot of people.still grab at that time. There's a couple alliances out there that have that as their official policy (SancT, ICN, Neo, Omega), but I bet hitting LaF/Evo... in the last 2-3 weeks will also get you an FA call :)

I guess it does give people an opportunity to mask grudge fights as policy wars :)

This is confirmed. To clarify, standard pacts with allies will still be honored first as they contain clauses/ specific details around retals. This is designed to deal with unpacted/untagged countries during the final destocking / stocking phases.

As always, MD will work through normal FM channels and view all things on case-by-case basis in the fairest manner possible :)
