Don't get me wrong. Ever since I started ESD, my goal was to be good but maybe not so good as to draw a ton of attention.
I know where you're coming from. In part, that's why I've tried to have the clan policies I've made and only accept the members I think will help and support those policies.
I certainly can't stop some dude from whacking us because he has a hard on for some member of ours that fluffed him over in the past. In part, that's why I limit our clan's membership. I don't want guys with baggage.
Pretty much a crap shoot though. You can only do so much and after that, you just have to play like things will be okay. And be able to quickly dispatch unjustified or unwanted threats.
Here's the deal, smegma. Since 2001 (or so), ESD was ALWAYS the "little guy". I fought for the little guy, made alliances and friendships to HELP the little guys and tried hard to only attract members who wanted to play smart.
Not coincidentally, that's why ESD was always the "little guy". The game is different now. Relatively speaking, ESD is one of the "big guys". I still demand the "little guy" mentality out of everyone of my members.
If that's not good enough, so be it. I personally want every FFA player to succeed and more importantly have fun be that in a netting tag or warring tag. I have no control over the chaotic element. If they pick ESD for whatever reason, then we have to deal with it.
I think what you and everyone else should try to understand is that my clan is FULL of people who have played this game since almost Day 1. We've all "been there done that".
At this point, we just want to enjoy the community and fit in.
