To be honest, I mainly voted for Obama because of the right trying to remove the choice from women for an abortion, and the right trying to create a second class citizen in homosexual couples.

Ignoring the economy, I think we should first focus on the human right's side of thing. Once we make it so that all citizens are treated equally and are given the ability to make decisions over their own body, THEN we can focus on the economy.

I however do believe that with the more that a person makes, the more they should pay. I didn't agree with romney wanting to make things more comfy for the rich. A person making a million dollars a year can figure out a way to pay an extra 50k$ a year in taxes. A person making 15k a year would be hard pressed to pay an extra 750$ in taxes. Same percentage yes, but I feel that 5% is alot easier to do when you're rich than when you're poor. It also seems like the economy is picking up, jobs are out there, unemployment is going down, and real estate values are going back up again. I liked the way things were going, and that's why I had no problem with voting for four more years of it.

Sorry if I gloat (perhaps uncivilly) for one day every four years.

You can rest assured that if the other team won, the civility would be lacking still, it'd just be going from the right to the left :)

Just read your link galleri...I think that is the main problem with this bill. Nobody really knows what it is, mainly because it was written vague enough to mean anything and nothing. I guess we'll get to see it unravel for the next 4 years though.

Romney may have been the better pick long term but I aint guaranteed tomorrow. So I prefer short term over long term. Besides short term usually turns out to be long term anyway.
