I will! A buddy of mine has a white one that I've been playing around with. Based on his review and what I've read online, the major disappointments are the camera software/firmware, the speaker quality and location (apparently the speaker quality is very, very, VEEEEEEEERY bad - but for me it seemed comparable to my old iPhone 4 which I never had problems with... though the iPhone 4 is 2 years old, and the Nexus is 2 weeks old, I'd expect an improvement), and battery life. Google are aware of the concerns with the camera app being sluggish, slow to focus, somewhat difficult to navigate, and pretty simply in terms of features and they're working on a software fix for this. In terms of battery life I charge my phone in the car and at home anyway so it's never been a problem for me. It might be if you travel a lot and don't have access to a charger between morning and night... but battery life on a phone depends a lot on the user too. Turn down the brightness, turn off wifi when you're out, turn off bluetooth when you're in etc. and you can extend it a bit. Apparently the battery itself *should* be a little better, despite being pretty small (2300 mah) but the phone also doesn't have any sort of battery optimization software, so that could also be fixed by Google or some third-party battery doctor type app.
I can't wait to get my hands on it, and I'll give you more when I do... but if you're thinking about it, here are the videos/articles that I found most helpful. Also, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE FROM YOUR CARRIER! I got the 16GB from Google for $349. The phone is a developer phone, so it comes "unlocked." Carriers in Canada are selling this phone for $499 off-contract, or anywhere between $100-$200 on a 48 month plan. Just get it straight from Google unless you're planning on getting it as a new activation/hardware upgrade on a new plan.
