I got them all correct doing most of it in my head :P
I seem to remember doing these types of problems at a younger age though..

Yea, I was going to say, isn't 15 like grade 10? Those seem a lot more like grade 6 problems, so... age 11?

And I did them all (correctly!) in my head too :)

The km pieces threw me off a little, but answered them correctly as well.

The math contests I did in grade 9 (age 14) were way the fluff harder than this anyway; there was a lot of trig and algebra....

There, these are age grade 9 (age 14) problems: http://mathematica.ca/flash/pytha_eng/pytha01.swf

yes, I won cash prizes for both of those contests. I should look at them now and see if I can do them. A lot of them were linear programming and trig oriented iirc.

yea; this seems to be a short sample of the first problems; the later problems were much more difficult i do recall...

and Cash prizes? =/ I never got any money, and I had the top score in my school! though not perfect...

Though i guess they sent me to the UofC(algary) for a math camp....

I'm sure I'm smarter than a Canadian 15-year-old. Not sure which one, but there's got to be one out there I can outwit.

Plus in the US 1/2 the stuff is in metric anyway

Misread one of the questions but got the rest right. Knew the answer once I reread the problem after messing it up though :P

I did all in my head, correctly. The only two I had to really think about were 3 and 6

They sent me to OUC (Okanagan) to do another test when I won my school. No bloody cash prizes though :/

In BC they tested at grade 8, 10, and 12. And the tests were significantly harder than these questions.
