You can claim bases, leave notes, and mark how many stars you got (for stats at the end). In clan war it is best that each player pick who they can beat based on the base and their play style. Now I wouldn't want a TH 9 to hit a TH 8 but at the same time I wouldn't want to tell the TH 9 that you can only hit your opposite or something like that.

This also allows people to pick a target train a specific army for that attack and have time to study it to exploit the base without someone stealing the base and then you just have to hit whoever you can with an army built specifically for a target you planned on hitting.

Possibly but the only catch is you have to get everyone to use it! All you got to do is send a clan message with the clan code and everyone can go to the website and look it up. It's pretty simple but people have to use it for it to be any good :p
