unless game gets mods who check forums 24/7 (min 3 in 8 hrs cycles in reality at least thrice that) or posts need to be approved by mods before those appear on forums (again need to have 24/7 coverage) enforcing happens only afterwards by deleting posts and/or banning poster(s).

forums would be A LOT quieter if posts would be needed to be approved before those appear and then some poster would be called mods favorites since their posts appear more often than others or more edited.

Sounds more like our constitutional rights are being infringed upon. Freedom of speech is being taken away slowly but surely. Making general comments not geared at anyone personally is taken as an insult and calling someone out by name directly is known as respect now. It is nothing more than bias, unless you treat your friends or friendlies the same way. Mark Zuckerman might want to sue you guys if I take a screenshot and post it to facebook. For defamation of character. Either way it wouldnt matter if I made a post on the best way to cook potatoes, the people who dont like me, such as the one right above. Would post a comment geared at making me angry and antagonize his friends into doing the same to illicit a response and create a hostile and negative atmosphere. I think your idea of respectful forum is in need of a tune up. Put yourself in the shoes of the players you do this too and ask yourself how you might feel.
