Yep, only like 8 more now because I ran off a bunch already

i dont think he would ROR, known him for few rounds and think he's quite a reasonable player if there's no provocation.. perhaps play as per normally u would? u never know until the end (unless u have info of how the other front-runners are performing).. i guess to win this round may need 110-120+mil networth

I think it will likely take more like 130m net to win, similar to last round. I hadn't been able to pinpoint where my finish would've been due to unknown sales prices, potential re-sales, etc. Could've been anywhere from ~122m (just an estimate if I sold all food on private) to over 130m with some good breaks.

i think the food price this round is easier to anticipate than last round.. last round, the food price was really ex at some point in time and has a big fluctuation in price.. given that lots of guys are destocking now, i think the majority of the food transaction from now till the end of round would be between 35 bucks to 39 bucks, so it's not too hard to predict the rough networth at the end

I think it's always hard to predict the ending NW. Only for the oil destocking FFOs it's relatively doable to guess NW within like 1-2%.

I think because of non-linear Expenses it makes it too complicated for napkin math and you will need either to simulate your endgame or have a very complex sheet to get an accurate prediction of your ending NW.
Nonliear PCI makes it also hard for a casher that takes turns while jumping as income isn't static either.
PCI doesn't make much difference with other strats but all other strats have variablility in the prices which needs to predicted rather well to predict the ending NW.

What is more valuable:

1 turn in the first month of the set, when you can invest that turn into your growth and have it pay back all the rest of set
or
1 turn near end of set when you're at your peak production, and cashing $30m/turn or what have you

When is 1 tech point worth the most? On day one, because you'll have that tech on day one, and day two, and day three, and so on, and it will pay out for you the entire reset. Similarly, if I get 1 extra turn on day 1 then I have 59 days for that turn to pay itself back. i don't know if there's actually an answer to the question, by the way.

Most of the time you are limited by other things than turns. Build costs, expenses, target scarcity, PS brigades, jets, oil/jet market supply and tech/food market supply.

Like this set most players hit many targets more than once and as such needed tanks and SDI or NW acrobatics, which costs resources. Or they got retalled with ops/missiles/special attacks.

Early turns mean some more turns explored at 6-7 acres per turn(with the income it brings) and late turns mean more turns cashed at max income. I would say only the late turns matter for real.

I played it safe and didn't have bad luck this round like a lot of guys did, I'm glad it worked out. Sorry KoHeartsGPA you got hit pretty good and almost still got in, impressive. I thought I might get a top 9, good job Grievous and the rest of the top 10. Congrats on the win Gerdler!

150m seems hard. Tyr casher win seems hard too. I did tyr casher for the challenge in express two years ago. Was surprisingly bad. Worse than it sounds. :)
