I've seen a nice demo farmer or two, and lots more other farmers - combined with all of the other rainbows, I think it'll probably be a reasonable balance.

Commie farmer is legit! Tech maxing cheaply, low indies needed for spy production, and people think you are an indy so they will assume you can make 50 million jets and retal the crap out of them so they won't even spy you. :)

Actually commie farmer got like 700m NW in 1a iirc. It was the 2nd highest NW commie in 1a ever iirc, or 1st i forget?

No because they aren't contributing to the market and they aren't maximizing the production of a single commodity to be able to make a difference, there's a reason as to why rainbow builds don't win on a regular basis, say....3 10k lab countries will add more tech to the market than 6 10k rainbows with 2k labs, 2k farms, 2k Indy, 2k res and 2k bus....... rough numbers but I'm not too far fetched i don't think, no?
