I dont see what the problem is, its a game and one of the desired titles is winner of ANW.. as long as its within the rules, who cares about how you get it?

yes, no research labs, you want all industrial complexes and construction sites.

as a communist it takes 4 consturction sites to increase the amount of buildings you can build per turn by 1.

The amount of construction sites you want to build is relative to how much land you want to have by the end of the reset.

I don't know enough about the game to give you reliable advice here, but for a 10k acre country, i would probably build enough construction sites to increase my buildings per turn to 50 or so

you can buy business and residential tech to help with the negative income, as well as selling maximum military on the public market every day or even twice a day

What is the average age of this community? 10 years ago this 'he said she said' BS might have been expected, but as it stands now, this whole thread is an embarassment to just about everyone that's posted in it.

i have a farmer thread open and our countries look similar, except you have twice as much cash and stock as me.. the advice i was offered was to continue expanding until the last 100 turns, which should be spent cashing..

military tech raises the sell price of bushels on your private market, maybe worth the investment for destocking?

i haven't commented because its not hard to figure out which country is mine.

should i be cashing or exploring turns at this point? i dunno how to finish, don't play farmer much.

I am also pretty new, but I have been having some success with the following guidelines:

* For the first 100 turns, I set production to 100% turrets, and sell them after each and every turn I take, this is because military costs food and money to maintain, and by selling them each turn, your upkeep costs are minimized (spies are more expensive to maintain, which is why i thinks selling turrets is better in the first 100 turns)

* around turn 80 or 85, I set production to 10% spies and 90% turrets, then play up until turn 99.. at which point save turns for 24 hours (or until you reach the maximum) and come out of protection.

* Jets and turrets are the best units to produce and jets are the best unit to landgrab with.. tanks are not effecient to produce, i buy them from my private market just to deter artillery barrages.

BPT = buildings per turn.. every 4 construction sites you build increases your BPT by 1.. I really don't know what is best here, but a BPT of 60-70 seems ok to me for a 10k acre country.

finding out how much defense and offense you needs comes with becoming more familiar with the server you are playing on.

I am no expert by any means, but following those startup guidelines has led me to a couple decent finishes.

Sure i'm biased, but anywhere else on the ice, that play results in a 2 minute minor for interference and there's no discussion. I didn't like seeing someone get hurt that bad.. I don't like how he's going to be sidelined for at least the rest of this year. But its not Chara's cross to bear.

He's playing within the rules, i just find it outrageous that the montreal police are probing an INVESTIGATION (my mistake) after the NHL cleared Chara of any misdoings.

And keep your personal opinion of Chara out of it, talk about bias.. he has served ONE suspension (i think it was for 2 games) in his decade+ long career for an instigating penalty.

He's not a cheap player and was rightfully dismissed of any action from the NHL

I'm not applauding the injury. I think it was vicious and unfortunate and honestly pretty unsettling to watch.

I just think its funny that after the NHL ruled that the hit was within the rules, Montreal police are going to try and bring charges against him? And now Air Canada might drop their sponsorshipp?

A serious and unfortunate injury for sure, wouldn't wish that on anyone.. but this is laughable!

definitely interference but otherwise a clean hit, that hit is made tons of times throughout a NHL season.. obviously an unfortunate and terrible injury resulted from this particular hit, but no suspension/fine is the right call based on track record and this 'flow of the game' impact..
