Ignorance is not a defense against the law.

The integrity of Earth Empires depends on each player's responsibility to uphold the Spirit of the Game, and this responsibility should remain paramount:

1) Gamesmanship, sportsmanship and/or professionalism is a must.

2) Follow the letter of the law and/or the spirit of the law at all times.

3) Wilful and/or wanton disregard for the letter of the law and/or the spirit of the law implies you lack respect for not only your fellow players and/or the spirit of the game, but yourself as well.

4) Two wrongs don't make a right.

5) If in doubt, seek clarification until all doubts have been cleared.

6) Go through the proper channels, escalate higher when necessary; qzjul is the supreme authority.

Spirit of the Rules applies most definitely to that farce of a war last set. Selfish was bringing down the heat on himself and when he realized it was about to overflow, he intentionally shot a couple missiles and dec'd war on a tag using a hit from a country that was already dead (you're welcome btw). Should a tag suffer from the actions of one country owner ???
